Besides the 'cross racing last week there was an exciting and fun road trip with Rachel. We bravely traveled into the Midwestern prairie lands and extreme winter weather conditions. There was fun, conversation and some good time spent together. Probably could have done without the Saturday night-time driving in a winter storm across the state of Missouri, that provided several tense, white-knuckle moments but otherwise all was fine.

Posted by dancoy at December 17, 2007 12:00 PMI am sure you would have liked the race to go differently, but it sure sounds like you and Rachel were involved in one of those lifetime events. It kind of pales the "big event" this weekend when Doug, Dave, and I played golf in the fog.
