Death Sentence for Rejon Taylor

Guy Luck (pronounced GEE LUKE) owned and built Violette Restaurant in Atlanta, he was also my friend and employer. Guy was born and raised in France and we often talked about pro bicycle racing in Europe, he knew more about it than me because his father was a big fan of the sport and he grew up around it.

In August 2003 while I was away at the USA Cycling Masters National Championships in Louisville, Guy was kidnapped and murdered. I read about it in the news, was shocked and came home to his funeral. Violette was closed and I was suddenly unemployed. The restaurant was reopened several weeks later by a partial owner and Guy's romantic partner, Stephanie Belcher.

Three young men were caught and two confessed to the kidnapping and murder, the third guy was the instigator and trigger man but denies it.

Here are some articles regarding the recent trial, verdict and sentencing...

Thanks for posting this info. I am trying not to reignite the anger that I went through when his murder happened but it is still very real to me. I want to be a good person but this animal needs the death sentence. Why do criminals think that they can commit crimes against society and it's people and it's OK and society should forgive them? B.
