More blood was sent to the lab for analysis regarding the lesions in the liver. On Monday, July 12th, a liver scan is scheduled, this is where they inject a radioisotope into a vein and a series of pictures are taken of the liver by a scanner. The doctor wants to confirm that the abnormal growths are hemangiomas.
