Seige of Fort Yargo
Several weeks ago, on Saturday June 16, 2007, I was riding my old mountain bike around the Fort Yargo trails and came upon an Adventure Race. I have never seen one of these before and it looked kinda fun. This race consisted of three-person teams and included mountain biking, paddling, trail running, orienteering, crawling through a mud pit and more. siegeyargo.trailblazerar.com
As I clicked through the event photos this evening I discovered a couple photos of me. I guess the photographer thought I was racing too.
Stephen needed to log a long run Saturday morning, so we decided to try Yargo. I rode the mountain bike and he ran and it was a blast. I had no idea how nice the trails were out there, having only messed around the old inner loop trails years ago.
