Georgia Games Road Race
Saturday afternoon 07/07/07 was the 45-mile Georgia Games cycling road race held on Fulton Ind Pkwy. There were maybe about 40 riders in a combined field of Masters 35+/45+. The finish was at the top of a fairly long uphill and I came in third place. It was a pretty tough competition and I felt good about my ride other than I started my sprint too late and could have finished at least one place better. My computer data indicated a 24.3 avg speed.
