I released this live CD back in 1998 and sold several thousand world-wide. This evening, just out of curiosity I Googled "Dan Coy Nothing But The Truth" and discovered that this CD is considered very rare and some used copies are available on Amazon.com for $68 each!
Also there is a MP3 service that will let you download some songs from the CD for $29.95 per song!
I was even more surprised to see tracks from the CD on the playlist of some radio stations. Frequently and regularly played on WBCX 89.1 FM broadcasting from Brenau University in Gainesville (NE Atlanta) Ga
My Dad's a SUPERSTAR! :-)
Posted by: Ruthie at December 10, 2008 06:54 AMYou have always been a superstar with me. Maybe you could put it for sale on you website and make some $ for yourself and not whomever is doing it on Amazon. Is this copywrited? Love, B.

Next time you record one , bury several copies in the backyard .
You never know when is time to dig .
Guess what I found ?

Posted by: wojtek at December 10, 2008 02:09 PMBetter than that, I just discovered that someone has a DAT tape of the Dan Coy Trio 3/20/1999 performance at The Variety Playhouse. The marquee that night read,

Posted by: dan at December 10, 2008 03:41 PMIf not for Dan Coy , Herbie would struggle to fill the house ;)
Posted by: wojtek at December 10, 2008 11:01 PMCertainly not implying that I was a draw, just that we got to play for a packed house, but I did sell quite a few of my CD's that night.
I played one of my favorite Herbie Hancock songs for the sound check, "Dolphin Dance", and he came out of the dressing room and said, "You're not going to play my song tonight are you?" I told him "No, but thank you for writing it because I play it most every other night."

I think that I have a couple of copies of your CD. Maybe even one that has never been used.
