This morning the dogs and I got out for a cool and crisp morning run, a repeat of last Tuesday's workout, and all went well until the final couple of minutes when I got some pain in the left gluteus maximus area. Still knocked out a rolling 5k in about 24 minutes at a mostly easy pace. In hindsight I did wake up feeling a little stiff in the lower-back and hip area and did some extra stretching and loosening up prior to the run so I suspect there might be a pinched nerve or something like that going on.
As per my workout schedule the weight room workout was next after the run. Had to skip most of the lower body stuff. Then came time for the 1.5 hour ride that was on the workout schedule but after five minutes on the bike I realized that was not going to happen.
Currently resting with ice pack on butt and popped a couple those little green gel caps...
