Road bike during the cross season ?

Last time I saw that bike chained to the post at Little Mulberry Park , with shoes and helmet next to it .
Looks like duathlon .

I don't need no stinkin' road bike (right now). I rode my 'cross bike. I think Shari only has that Colnago Master Light... poor girl.

OK - so you rode with Shari but do you really have to hug her? A nice side by side - no touchy would have been more appropriate. B.
