Coyboy Ride

We got an early start and drove to the mountains and into a torrential downpour so instead of riding the Gaps we headed back home and rode the local 5-Hills loop. It started out good and I knocked out some good hard intervals on the climbs but the last 6-8 miles we rode right back into the storm. You could feel the temps drop, the wind was kicking, the sky was black and there was occasional lightning. Of course after we got home and 30 minutes later it was sunny and calm again but the weather made for an exciting and wet adventure while it lasted.
